The Eagles placed wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, running back Corey Clement, and defensive end Vinny Curry on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. The Eagles also placed wide receiver Deontay Burnett on the Practice Squad COVID-19 list.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Earlier on Thursday, the team confirmed that a player tested positive for COVID-19.

"The Philadelphia Eagles received confirmation this morning that a player tested positive for COVID-19," the team said in a statement. "The individual and close contacts who were identified through contact tracing are in self-isolation. We are following NFL-NFLPA intensive protocols and remain in communication with the league on this matter."
